Crazy Performance Apparel Debuts Ski Touring Collection

Crazy, an Italian performance mountain wear company known for its European heritage in ski touring, introduced its fall/winter 2023 line reinforcing its commitment to its “Fast and Light” philosophy and colorful design. Building upon its U.S. momentum, the line includes new colorways in its hallmark Levity Jacket, a light down jacket, new artist designs and updated jackets and pants. The line, priced from $95 to $680, will be available at authorized Crazy dealers in October 2023.

“Our signature style is resonating with U.S. consumers and the specialty backcountry market that’s growing in the U.S.,” said Valeria Colturi, Crazy founder and designer. “This collection keeps our focus on this important audience that loves alpine adventures. We’ve now grown to 25 retailers across the northeast and the Rockies to appeal to that core market and look forward to introducing more U.S. enthusiasts to the Crazy brand family.”

New products include the men’s Jacket Viper, a hybrid everyday active insulated jacket and the Boosted Pant, a waterproof bib pant for skiing and mountaineering with full length double-slider side zips and gaiters with an adjustment system for use with crampons. Enhanced items include the men’s Pull Acceleration ($290), the Acceleration Jacket ($400), the updated Neutron jacket ($460).

For women, the line includes the refreshed Pull Oxygen ($220), the new version of Crazy’s Cervino mid-layer, and the Jacket Oxygen ($400), a minimalist, packable jacket; both feature updated materials and fabrics to enhance performance.

The Levity Jacket, an ultralight puffy down jacket that weighs 6.1 ounces for men and 5.4 ounces for women, continues to be the line’s most well-known piece of the line and is priced at $680.
