CamelBak Recalls Podium, Peak Fitness Bottles

CamelBak water bottles have been voluntarily recalled due to a potential choking hazard. The recall affects two varieties of water bottles — CamelBak Podium and CamelBak Peak Fitness bottles – sold with certain caps, which could become a choking hazard, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission alert.

The recalled CamelBak water bottles were sold across the United States in sporting goods stores and online between February 2019 and January 2021. The recall only affects bottles with certain date codes (H19039, H19063, and H19175), which should be printed on the underside of the cap.

The bottles came in a variety of colors and three sizes (17, 21, and 24 ounces), and they had either CamelBak and Podium or Peak Fitness written on them.
