Bollé Worn by Ball Kids at Australian Open

Bollé’s tennis-specific sunglasses featuring the Phantom Court lens are on display during the 2022 Australian Open by all the tournament’s ball kids.

The ball kids play an essential part of the game, and like tennis players, having superior sunglasses can give them an advantage and protect their eyes from long hours in the sun. Nearly 400 ball kids will be outfitted in the Bollé Bolt performance sunglasses and its smaller sister model Bolt S. Both models feature Bollé’s proprietary Phantom Court tennis lens.

Bollé has a history in tennis and its advanced photochromic lens technology. Phantom Court provides a dedicated tennis lens that is engineered to highlight the ball as well as the tennis court lines.

The performance of this unique NXT lens offers optical clarity, impact resistance and glare-reducing polarization while adapting to the ever-changing light conditions.

One of the favorite Bollé models on the tennis circuit is the Bolt 2.0 with Phantom Court lenses and along with its smaller sister model, Bolt 2.0 S, the sunglasses offer exceptional fit and comfort.

Using state-of-the-art materials, the frame combines lightness, flexibility, and durability.

The Thermogrip rubber inserts on the temples and the nose pad ensure the sunglasses stay in place even during intense action while the adjustable multi-position nose pad plays its part in the stability and in addition, provides a customizable fit for optimal comfort. The lens also features a hydrophobic treatment (so that water droplets roll-off) and an oleophobic treatment (to repel dirt), keeping vision clear.

Bolt 2.0 and Bolt 2.0 S are versatile models and lenses suitable for other sports, including running, are also available. Lenses include the revolutionary VOLT+ for phenomenal high contrast and enhanced color.

BOLT and BOLT S are available on www.Bollé.com and are also available in prescription.
