Bass Pro Announces Three New Doors

Bass Pro Shops announced plans to open stores in New Hampshire, New York and California.

A 149,000 square-foot Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center will be opened in Hooksett (Manchester), N.H. It will be located at the intersection of I-93 and I-293 and is scheduled to open in late 2013. Bass says the The location is at the center of the main highways leading to New Hampshire’s northern recreational areas. Approximately 9.9 million people within a 100 mile radius call this area home.

In New York, a new 65,000 square-foot Bass Pro Shops Outpost will be located in Riverside Center at the intersection of I-90 and Route 5 in Utica and is scheduled to open in late 2013. Bass Pro said Utica will besituated within the Mohawk Valley region.

In San Jose, Calif., a new 145,000 square-foot Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is scheduled to open in 2015. Sitting west of the highly visible intersection of the Almaden Expressway 85 and Highway 87, the store will be part of the 350,000-square foot Almaden Ranch development with access for all of the east and west Bay population.

Nationally, Bass Pro Shops will host over 120 million people visiting their 77 stores and marine centers across America and Canada this year; the average customer stays 2 ½ hours and drives an average distance of 50+ miles, says the company.
