Astral, a creator of high-performance footwear and apparel for wilderness athletes, appointed Christian Mason as head of B2B Sales. In this role, Mason will provide strategic leadership to support ambitious upcoming objectives.
This designation reflects Astral’s commitment to being its retail partners’ favorite vendor. Mason – who has industry experience – will play a vital role in building and strengthening long-term relationships with key partners, and optimizing sales performance across all product categories that Astral sells.

Mason launched his career in the 1990s, managing a paddlesports outfitter and retail business near Crested Butte. Since then, he has led sales teams and strategies for outdoor brands such as Oboz, Dakine, Petzl, Deuter and Sitka.
His track record of leading teams and fostering industry relationships will be an asset to Astral’s future growth.
