Marmot Expands Collection with WarmCube Active Insulation

Marmot continues to innovate with its WarmCube insulation technology, adding an active line for fall 2022 focused on high-output cold-weather adventures.

WarmCube Active technology is a revolutionary temperature-regulating technology that allows air to circulate in the jacket as you move, while the insulation cubes trap air to help keep you warm when you stop.

Marmot incorporated field testers for the WarmCube Active Novus and WarmCube Active Alt HB hoodies that comprise the collection, and they loved the way the pieces made them feel cooler under high-effort activities like ski touring, scrambling and hiking steep terrain.

The WarmCube Active Novus hoody is an all-around versatile insulation piece. It is a jacket for wearing as an outer layer when playing outside in the cold, or layering under a shell when the weather turns inclement. This piece could replace every insulating mid-layer in your quiver and extends your range of insulation by adapting to a larger spectrum of body temperatures and different levels of exertion.

The WarmCube Active Alt HB hoody brings this technology to a layering piece but also as something that will help keep athletes warm from start to finish during their cold-weather endurance efforts.

When high activity and mobility matter most, the WarmCube Active Alt HB hoody provides stretch, air-permeable fabrics to increase breathability and core warmth that you can wear for your entire workout.

Channels between the down pockets allow air to circulate between and around the insulation so cool air helps keep the temperature steady as you heat up.

The WarmCube Active Alt HB hoody has 700 fill down for core warmth with minimum weight and stretch comfort. Excess warmth and sweat evacuate through air channels, and air-permeable face fabric lets it escape.
