Selk’bag USA, Inc., the company responsible for melding the functionality of a sleeping bag into a wearable silhouette, announced a new license with Lucasfilm and Disney Consumer Products to launch the first ever Star Wars by Selk’bag collection in 2016. Selk’bag also has a licensing deal with Marvel to produce its Marvel hero bags for kids (pictured).
In development now, the Star Wars by Selk’bag collection will comprise models and characters for adults and kids and will feature iconic Star Wars characters, including Darth Vader, the Storm Trooper, Chewbacca, and Rebel Fighters in phase one, with additional characters slated for future releases.
The new Star Wars by Selk’bag collection is slated to hit retail on September 30, 2016 just a few months ahead of the release of the second movie, Star Wars Anthology; Rogue One, of the five new-feature films.
