The Housewares Division of Helen of Troy Limited, home to brands, OXO and Hydro Flask, announced the promotion of Mike Wallenfels to the newly created divisional role of senior vice president of Global Sales. Prior to this promotion, Wallenfels served as vice president of worldwide sales for Hydro Flask. In his expanded position, Wallenfels will lead divisional sales operations for Housewares, adding OXO to his purview.
Prior to joining Hydro Flask, Wallenfels served as CEO of Timbuk2 Designs and before that, president of Mountain Hardwear and Montrail. In addition to his role on the senior leadership team for Helen of Troy Housewares Division, Wallenfels serves as the board president for the nonprofit Oregon Outdoor Alliance, and as a member of the Oregon Governor’s “Task Force for the Outdoors.”
Wallenfels will be based out of Helen of Troy’s Housewares Division office in Bend, Oregon, where he will oversee the OXO and Hydro Flask U.S. and international sales teams, including a newly created role of Vice President of North American Sales for Hydro Flask that will manage all North American channels and top accounts.
