Vimazi Seeks to Secure $1m in Funding Round

Pacific Northwest-based running shoe startup Vimazi opened its most recent funding round for $1 million in preferred stock. Vimazi’s pace-tuned technology provides more shock absorption with less energy loss than other brands by engineering the shoes according to the pace of the runner.

The initial product line of six pace-tuned road running shoes was received by media, retailers and athletes at November’s run industry trade show The Running Event in Austin, Texas. The company uses patent-pending technology, backed by physics, to deliver optimized cushioning on impact and maximized propulsion efficiency during push-off. Vimazi began shipping its products to U.S. retailers and consumers on Wednesday from its Detroit distribution center.

The Vimazi funding round is open to accredited investors with a $50,000 minimum. Inquiries may be sent to invest@vimazi.com.

Vimazi Trail Z3 is tuned to the forces encountered on trails for the pace zone 10- to 15- minutes per mile and is slated for Fall 2023.
