Vibram Closes Production Facility in Italy, Restarts Production in China

Considering the current developments of the situation both in Europe and in the rest of the world, Vibram has decided to temporarily suspend production at its Italian facility, located in Albizzate, for at least a week, in order to allow all workers to stay at home safely. Also the three Vibram stores in Milan, Boston and Montebelluna (Northern Italy) are closed to the public.

The company also notifies that due to the restrictive measures previously applied, productions in the Far East and in the Vibram headquarters in Guangzhou (Vibram Tech Center) have restarted. In the meantime, production in the USA is under careful control in accordance with the developments of the virus in the United States. The restart in Asia raises hope for a positive outcome also in Italy and in other affected areas around the world.
