TredAgain Adds Veteran Footwear Exec

TredAgain has named Veteran Footwear Executive, Jared Oviatt, as general manager overseeing all facets of the business. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Oviatt has held executive and divisional leadership positions with Rocky Brands, LaCrosse Footwear and The Timberland Company and most recently served as SVP Sales and Marketing at Wigwam Mills.

“The chance to work with a brand that truly has the opportunity to change the way an industry looks at sustainability and environmental stewardship was too good to pass up. Early on in my career, I was taught that doing well and doing good are inextricably linked. Our mission is to bring that vision to reality through the products and relationships we build through TredAgain,” said Oviatt.

With billions of tires dumped in landfills each year, somebody had to do something. TreadAgain decided to step up, introducing the world’s first upcycled footwear brand. Founded in Austin, Texas in 2015, the company’s mission is to create amazing shoes that give you the power to leave a better footprint.
