The Running Event (TRE), a North American specialty retail conference and trade show, is teaming up with PR Project and FloSports to produce the second-annual TRE LIVE, streaming directly from the 2024 exhibit hall. New this year, TRE LIVE will be streamed exclusively on FloTrack, significantly expanding its reach to a global audience.
TRE LIVE will be hosted by PR Project co-founder Tommie Runz, along with co-hosts Aaron Barnett (TR Project co-founder) and Gary Koutsoubos. Together, they will hold engaging conversations with top brands, athletes, media outlets, specialty retailers and partner organizations, from a stage set located on the show floor. TRE LIVE will stream during exhibit hall hours on Wed., Nov. 20, and Thu., Nov. 21.
“I am honored we are hosting TRE LIVE again for The Running Event,” said Runz. “TRE LIVE gives the folks at home a real sneak peek on what brands are doing, exposes viewers to brands they aren’t familiar with, and gets us all energized on what we can look forward to seeing in our local run shop! On top of that, we are so happy to be able to provide a platform for the brands to kick it with us – consumers – so we can get to know them as a brand.”
FloTrack will stream the event for free across its platforms, including YouTube and Facebook. As part of the partnership, FloTrack will also produce a daily show from the floor featuring leaders across the sport of running. In addition to FloTrack’s streams, TRE LIVE will be available on TRE’s website and shared in real-time clips across social media. Alongside its coverage of TRE LIVE, FloTrack will also livestream TRE’s Indie 5K cross-country race in conjunction with the Cross Champs event on Thursday morning.
“We’ve long been attendees of the event, so we are thrilled to formalize and broaden our relationship with TRE to bring our audience, and the millions of running enthusiasts out there, an even deeper look at the innovation that the brands have to offer,” said Ryan Fenton, GM, FloTrack.
“After the success of TRE LIVE’s debut last year with Tommie and the PR Project team, we’re excited to build on that momentum and make this year’s stream even more impactful,” said Christina Henderson, event director, TRE. “Partnering with FloTrack allows us to bring the energy of TRE’s exhibit hall to a larger audience, including runners at home. Expanding our reach this year will only amplify those conversations and help us grow the sport of running.”
TRE 2024 will be held Nov. 19-21 at the Austin Convention Center.
