The Mountain Air, a specialty outdoor retailer that has done business in San Luis Obispo, Calif., since 1975, has been admitted as the newest retail member of Grassroots Outdoor Alliance.
“The Mountain Air strives to be as professional as possible at all times,” said Wayne Patterson, founder and owner of store, which specializes in hiking, backpacking, climbing, skiing, snowboarding and travel. ”That is why we look to the industry for ways to improve our business practices. We look at suppliers and industry peers for that knowledge and expertise that will enhance our business plan.
“With that said we are so pleased to be a part of the Grassroots Outdoor Alliance,” Patterson continued. “I feel that the association with this organization falls in line with the philosophy and business practices of The Mountain Air and look forward to a growing relationship.”
Staff from The Mountain Air will be attending the Grassroots Summit to be held in Loveland, CO from June 9 – 12, 2014.
Grassroots Outdoor Alliance includes 49 independent outdoor retailers with more than 100 doors.
