Stio Hires Vice President of Sales

Stio, a mountain lifestyle brand headquartered in Jackson Hole, Wyo., has hired Alex Brown as vice president of sales. Brown will lead the strategy and development of Stio’s wholesale and corporate channels as it looks to expand the brand’s omnichannel offerings.

As a brand built primarily with a direct-to-consumer sales approach, Stio created the role to serve as a catalyst for tapping into new growth opportunities. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry and a proven track record in driving sales, growth and brand awareness, Brown will be instrumental in shifting operational processes and driving cross-functional strategies to facilitate a more balanced omnichannel business.

Most recently, Brown served as the vice president of sales at Merrell where he led a team of 60 sales professionals across each of the brand’s wholesale channels. Prior to that role, Brown worked as the senior sales director at The North Face where he served as the sales lead for the brand’s lifestyle channel.
