Footbed brand SOLE continues to grow it sales team by recently announcing two new partnerships with agencies Onward Up in western Canada and ASM Sports in eastern Canada.
Being the birthplace of SOLE, Canada has always been a strong market for the company and close to the brand’s heart, according to SOLE’s Director of Sales, Zachary Osness.
“The addition of the Onward Up and ASM Sports agencies to the SOLE team not only represents an over 400% increase in boots on the ground in Canada, but more than that it represents the addition of passionate, like-minded individuals that want to help deliver the outdoor experience to Canada,” says Osness.
Canadian Director of Sales, Iain Macfarlane, agrees, stating that SOLE’s retail partners have historically been serviced and developed almost exclusively by an internal sales team for the past 14 years.
“To take the SOLE brand to new levels, we have partnered with these top agencies, making the SOLE team and family exponentially stronger in the Canadian market. I anticipate great things for the future,” says Macfarlane.
Osness is thrilled with the agencies’ amount of experience in the industry and with other brands.
“Both of these agencies have a long history with their accounts and brands, acting as much more than just sales agents, but also expert territory managers that build partnerships on trust, knowledge and passion for the industry,” he says. “I speak for the entire SOLE team when I say we are truly excited to forge a long term relationship with these pinnacle agencies and for SOLE to be a part of their portfolio of category leading brands. The fit could not be better and we look forward to delivering the next chapter of SOLE to our retailers and outdoor enthusiasts.”
Rob Owens and his team from Onward Up will now be representing SOLE in addition to Patagonia, Oboz Footwear, Petzl, GSI Outdoors and DPS Skis. Stéphane Morin and his team at ASM Sports will be adding SOLE to their list of brands whom they represent alongside prAna, Outdoor Research, Gregory, Scarpa and Darn Tough.
Both agencies will be promoting SOLE’s expanded product offerings, which feature their multiple collections of customizable footbeds made using 100% recycled natural cork. Natural cork is an environmentally responsible material choice and ideal for use in footbeds as it is naturally moisture wicking, odor-reducing and has an elasticity that absorbs shock and allows it to mold to the wearer’s feet for a custom fit.
