Santini, K-Way Introduce Summer 2023 Line

The paths of Santini and K-Way met in 2022 with the creation of a jacket, launched in July last year, that met the needs of those who use a bike to train and to get around the city or to commute to work.

For summer 2023, the collaboration between the two brands continues and is enriched with a line of technical cycling garments. The SantiniǀK-Way collection includes two jerseys for men and one for women, with matching shorts, a wind vest and a rain jacket, as well as accessories such as gloves and a water bottle.

All garments have a thermoplastic label that summarizes the concept of the SantiniÇ€K-Way partnership and features the colors that represent the K-Way ‘trademark’: blue, orange and yellow.

In the men’s line, two jerseys and one bib short are proposed. The first jersey is made from post-consumer recycled fabrics, originating from the recovery of used or discarded materials. The garments feature a tight and aerodynamic fit, aimed at an audience of keen riders. The jersey is made in two color variations, white and blue, with a covered zip, and features the iconic K-Way colors, blue, orange and yellow, in the horizontal stripes positioned centrally on the chest. A thermoplastic label that summarizes the concept of the Santini Ç€ K-Way partnership is applied on the back.

With a softer fit, the second men’s proposal in the Summer 2023 collection is a jersey with a dotted design: the design team was inspired by the technique of the artistic current of Pointillism born in France at the end of the 19th century within the neo-impressionist movement. The colors chosen are blue, orange and yellow while the zip is the iconic K-Way zip. The thermoplastic label applied to the jersey encapsulates the concept of the partnership.

To match the jerseys of the SantiniǀK-Way line, the collection offers bib shorts in blue with orange and yellow sections on the braces and at the bottom of the leg. A label with the history of the partnership is placed on the braces at the back. From a technical point of view, the leg area is made of Thunderbike Power compression fabric and the seat pad used is the signature Santini C3, with 3D ergonomic surface in differentiated density and anti-shock gel inserts for long rides, up to eight hours.

For the SantiniÇ€K-Way women’s kit, the color choice fell on lilac, one of the trend colors of the SS23 season. The jersey is made of eco-friendly fabrics, i.e. 100 percent recycled PET and waste yarns, and features the iconic K-Way colors, blue, orange and yellow, as horizontal stripes on the chest.

The fit chosen by the designers is sleek, for an aero performance; the sleeves and collar are raw cut, and the central zip is covered. In combination, the bib shorts feature on the thighs the same design of the jersey, with references to the K-Way colors, and, on the back of the braces the thermoplastic that summarizes the concept of the partnership.

From a technical point of view, the bib shorts offer a compression effect, thanks to the Thunderbike Power fabric. Comfort is achieved through Santini’s signature C3W seat pad, designed following the female anatomy and with anti-shock gel inserts.

In case of rain, the SantiniǀK-Way collection offers two garments: a jacket and a wind vest in Nautica blue with a central zip featuring the K-Way tape. A thermoplastic label with the history of the partnership between the two brands is applied on the inside of the garments. Both products repel water thanks to the double-layer Grimpeur fabric, and the jacket features heat-sealed seams to make it waterproof. Both have an ergonomic cut and are equipped with a zipped pocket to store the jacket when unworn.

The look is completed by cycling gloves, also in the K-Way colors.

All the garments are available in the brands’ store and on the brands’ websites www.santinicycling.com and www.k-way.com
