Delta Apparel Inc., a provider of core activewear and lifestyle apparel products, announced additional retail store openings for its Salt Life brand. After experiencing tremendous retail growth in recent years, Salt Life is heading into 2023 with three new Florida locations and one storefront in New Jersey.
In Florida, Salt Life Pembroke Pines is slated to open in January, with Salt Life Pompano Beach and Salt Life Viera following shortly thereafter. In New Jersey, Salt Life Long Branch is scheduled to open in early spring. The ocean performance and lifestyle brand offer consumers high-quality gear for fishing, surfing, diving, paddling or relaxing on their next coastal vacation.
“The Pembroke Pines, Pompano Beach, Viera and Long Branch communities share our passion for the water and the lifestyle that comes with that passion. We couldn’t be more excited to expand our presence in the Florida market and open our first New Jersey location,” said Jeff Stillwell, president of Salt Life. “It has been incredibly gratifying to see our team’s hard work pay off through the success of our branded retail stores. In 2012, Salt Life’s retail footprint came in at under 5,000 square feet. In 2023, the brand will offer consumers more than 55,000 square feet of retail space, spanning eight states, with locations on the Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific coasts.
Salt Life opened seven new retail stores this year in key coastal markets. They included four storefronts in Florida: Sarasota, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Jupiter; as well as locations in Foley, Ala.; Hilton Head, S.C.; and Rehoboth Beach, Del. The Pembroke Pines, Pompano Beach, Viera, and Long Branch locations will bring the brand’s total store count to 25.
