Rendle Promoted to VF Corp. President, COO

Former The North Face president keeps moving up the ranks at parent company.

Steve Rendle, 55, the former The North Face President (2004-2009) and most recently president of VF’s Outdoor Group (including TNF, Timberland and Vans), was promoted to president and chief operating officer of parent company VF Corp., including its contemporary and jeanswear divisions. Rendle was also elected to VF Corp’s board of directors.

Rendle takes over for Eric Wiseman, who will continue to serve as CEO and chairman of the board of VF Corp.

In his new role as president and chief operating officer, Rendle will oversee all of VF’s business coalitions worldwide: Outdoor & Action Sports, Jeanswear, Imagewear, Sportswear and Contemporary Brands. He will also be responsible for VF’s global supply chain and direct-to-consumer platforms.
