REI Co-op launched Member Month. This annual co-op member reward program offers special discounts and opportunities for members to engage. REI co-op’s 25 million members enjoy advantages such as one-year return windows, special offers and coupons, free shipping and the Re/Supply used gear program, year-long.
This month, even more benefits will be available.
REI members will receive $188m in annual co-op member rewards, stemming from eligible 2024 purchases.
“Member Month is our way of celebrating the incredible community of co-op members who are at the heart of everything we do. Their support enables us to continue our mission of making the outdoors more accessible for all,” said Clay Walton-House, REI’s divisional VP of membership. “Our members’ passion for the outdoors inspires us to continue providing the best gear and expertise they need to create amazing experiences outside.”
In addition to annual rewards and year-round benefits, co-op members can enjoy discounts and special access on a range of outdoor gear and apparel during the Member Month sale, Mar. 14-24.

- One full-price item and an extra single REI Outlet item.
- One Re/Supply item.
- One premium bike and snow shop services package at participating REI Co-op shop locations. Discounts apply on top of REI member pricing.
- All woom ORIGINAL bikes.
The month’s celebrations also include other unique activations. On Mar. 9, members that spend $100 at any REI retail store will receive a complimentary YETI Yonder 25oz water bottle, while supplies last. REI stores in Atlanta, Denver, San Diego, the Bay Area, Seattle and Washington, D.C., are hosting member community events on Mar. 15-16 as well. These events will feature exclusive member screen-printed giveaways and other perks from local partners.
Anyone can become a lifetime co-op member, for a one-time $30 fee, to access a range of benefits including discounts, annual co-op member rewards, access to the Re/Supply program, a one year return window on most purchases, free shipping and more. New members join a growing community that fights for a life outside. With each new membership purchased, the co-op donates $5 to support the REI Cooperative Action fund. Launched in 2021, the community-supported nonprofit is fueled by donations from REI members, customers, employees, foundations and corporate partners, including the REI Co-op. The REI Fund provides support to nonprofit organizations across the country doing essential work to create a more equitable outdoors for everyone.
