Registration Open for Ultimate Direction Dirty 30

Registration is now open for the Ultimate Direction Dirty 30, a summer trail race through the Rocky Mountain’s breathtaking Golden Gate State Park, in Black Hawk, Colo. The 2017 Ultimate Direction Dirty 30 will offer both a 50 km and 12 mi race courses and the top finishers will win cash prizes.

The 50-kilometer course includes 7,250 feet of elevation change while the 12-mile course climbs and descends approximately 4000 feet. Both courses meander single-track through groves of aspen, green meadows and thick pine forests, provide majestic views of snow-capped mountains and promise top-notch aid stations.

“We’re proud to partner again on a great race in our backyard that allows us to be part of this vibrant community,” said Buzz Burrell, Ultimate Direction’s Vice President. “Of course, we expect to see some stiff competition, bloody knees and bruised egos. The afterparty will help ease some of that pain.”

The race will also be hosting three running-specific happy hours at Runners High in Golden Colorado to help runners engage and learn about the race. Happy Hour dates & topics include February 22 (Running Your First Ultra), March 29 (Fueling and Nutrition for Ultra Running) and May 10 (Run Your Best Ultimate Direction Dirty 30.) All happy hours start at 6:30 pm.
