Rab, Lowe Alpine Name US Country Manager

Rab and Lowe Alpine, industry leaders in merging the development of quality outdoor gear and apparel with sustainability and environmental awareness, announced Adam Chamberlain as the new U.S. Country Manager for the two outlets owned by Equip Outdoor Technologies.

Chamberlain joins the Rab and Lowe Alpine team after five years as a U.S. sales manager and the first U.S.-based employee at Norrøna Sport, a Norwegian technical apparel brand. During his more than 20-year career he has served as the vice president of marketing at outdoor gear manufacturer Black Diamond and in various roles with Patagonia, a global outdoor and lifestyle apparel manufacturer.

Based in Louisville, Colo., Chamberlain was introduced to the Lowe Alpine line of gear during a 1993 summer outdoor education course in Alaska, which kickstarted a decades-long interest in the outdoors and the performance gear created by Rab, Lowe Alpine and their parent company, Equip.

Chamberlain takes over the U.S. Country Manager position from Jon Frederick, who served in the role for nearly five years. Last month, Frederick was named group marketing director for Equip UK
