Pro-Tec to Launch Snowsports Helmets

In honor of its 45th anniversary, Pro-Tec will be launching an all-new Pro-Tec Snow helmet line for fall 2018. Pro-Tec will be launching five new snow helmets, including the iconic Full-Cut, making it the first time that the 1970s skate helmet will be available across all lines: skate, bike, snow and water.

“We’re stoked to be back on the hill,” says R.P. Bess Pro-Tec Global Brand Director. “With 45 years of heritage and proven protection in action sports, riders and skiers at any level can feel good knowing that Pro-Tec is protecting their heads.”

From $69.95 to $139.95, and available in sizes XXXS – XL, the new snow helmets are designed with thoughtful features like insulated plush liners, removable ear pads, magnetic Fid-Lock buckles, Audio Pockets, and Goggle Clips.

The original Classic helmet is ASTM, CE and CPSC Certified for snow, skate and bike use, making it wearable year-round, on or off the slopes. This includes the Jr. Classic, which is designed for kids ages five to thirteen and comes with a Dual Directional Twist Fit System for a custom fit.

The line also features the low-profile Riot helmet, which has a Classic shape with an added visor, as well as the Commander, which delivers the ultimate in adjustability with the Active Venting System and top-of-the-line BOA Fit System.

“Snow sports are a lifelong passion of mine and I’m very excited to see Pro-Tec back in the winter sports category,” says Jeff Balaban, Senior Vice President of Bravo Sports Specialty Division. “It’s a great addition to our growing list of brands and categories here at Bravo.”

Retailers will be able to preview the 2018/2019 snow line at regional shows starting in December 2017 and at the upcoming SIA show in Denver, January 25-28, and ISPO show in Munich, January 28-31.
