Patagonia Resumes Fulfilling Online Orders

Patagonia is now fulfilling customer orders, after a month-long hiatus due to COVID-19.

While Patagonia’s brick and mortar stores will remain closed for the time being, Patagonia.com is now open for businesses and shipping outdoor gear. The company is working with a skeleton crew, which is operating out of their Reno-based distribution center.

Workers are being equipped with non-medical cloth face masks and gloves, and are abiding by strict social distancing protocols. Patagonia’s Reno distribution center warehouse will have about one employee per 8,000-10,000 square feet. In addition, shared time clocks are no longer being used.

Returns are currently being accepted. However delays should be expected for the time being on returned and exchanged items, as well as shipments. Free shipping is also available for domestic orders. Expedited shipping is currently on hold.

Worn Wear, Patagonia’s e-commerce site for recycled and repaired gear, is scheduled to reopen once its logistics partner Trove reopens.
