OverLand Equipment opened its first retail store in Portland, Ore. on Thursday, May 2. Located in Portland’s up-and-coming Pearl District, the store will carry OverLand’s full range of products, ranging from shoulder bags to laptop bags to backpacks, wallets and pouches.
“We’re excited about being able to bring products directly to customers through our retail store,” said Dave Bartels, OverLand Equipment’s general manager. “Now is the right time and Portland is the right place to showcase the style and function of our bags and accessories in a storefront operation. We think we’re going to fit right in in the Pearl District.”
To celebrate the store’s opening, visitors were welcomed to an all-day reception with coffee, tea, cheese and crackers and fruit. The first 20 visitors to the store received a free small wallet, followed by additional giveaways throughout the day. Overland Equipment’s retail store is located at 926 NW 13th Ave Suite 160, Portland, Oregon.
