OutdoorIndustryJobs.com to Re-Launch Website

OutdoorIndustryJobs.com, originally launched in December of 2005, will be re-launching with a new website in the fall. The current website has provided a way for employers and jobseekers to connect in the outdoor, bicycle, fitness, snow sports, fishing and hunting/shooting industries. Its success has been due to providing an easy-to-use, self-serve service where jobseekers can turn their passion into careers and employers can find great candidates with business skills that fit into their cultures.

“The same functionality will exist and some upgrades will be included, and of course the site will be device-friendly. I am really looking forward to a fresh look as it has been a long time coming,” said owner-founder Laurel King.

The site includes sophisticated searches and posting features for both job seekers and employers. Job seekers may search and apply instantly, receive job matches via email and post their resumes. Employers can post their jobs and candidate profiles, opt to search and automatically receive resumes of available candidates. The jobs are also posted on Snewsnet.com and Snowsports.org.

The service is free for job seekers to post their availability and to apply for jobs. Employers can do a limited search for free, but are charged for posting and resume searches

OutdoorIndustryjobs.com also owns NaturalIndustryJobs.com, a self-serve job board that serves the natural and organic industry including food and beverage, supplements, home and personal care products and ingredients.
