The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable has welcomed two new members, in an effort to further unify the industry and bolster its collective influence—bringing their total to 31 groups.
The ORR’s newest members are the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) and the Society of Outdoor Recreation Professionals (SORP).
“In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the outdoor recreation business community is coming together to strengthen the entire recreation sector – including thousands of small businesses and millions of workers – during this turbulent time,” the ORR stated. “Now, more than ever, we need this collective voice to provide support to the outdoor recreation economy, outdoor enthusiasts, and the local, state and federal lands and waters that so many communities depend on.”
