Old Man Mountain’s Divide Rack Fits Any Ride

Founded in 1996, Old Man Mountain has been designing rugged and reliable cargo bike racks in the industry ever since. To celebrate 25 years of helping people get further into the backcountry, Old Man Mountain introduces the Divide and Divide Fat, a rack that fits any bike, from road and gravel to full suspension mountain and fat bikes.

The Divide and Divide Fat racks make bike packing and bike touring more accessible for all bikes using a standard eyelet mount or with thru axle or quick release (QR) mount fit kits that fit all bike styles. With traditional eyelet mounting, the Divide and Divide Fat can carry up to 55 pounds, or for more adventurous endeavors, cyclists can use one of Old Man Mountain’s Fit Kits for thru axles (from the authority in thru axles, The Robert Axle Project) or QR skewers to mount the rack directly to the axle and carry up to 70 pounds. The rack can easily be swapped from one bike to another or from the front to the back of the bike with just a few bolts.

Other features on the versatile Divide and Divide Fat that cyclists will appreciate include a dropout design for the perfect fit on any bike and a lower pannier rail, which makes it easier to put bags on and take them off with gear lashed to the deck and provides a lower center of gravity for a more stable ride. As with all Old Man Mountain racks, the Divide and Divide Fat are made from powder-coated 6061 aluminum and are backed by a lifetime warranty and the company’s first in class customer service.
