NEMO Becomes Member of PeopleForbikes, European Outdoor Group

NEMO, an outdoor gear and accessories brand, has joined the climate- and adventure-focused organizations PeopleForBikes and the European Outdoor Group. The memberships align with NEMO’s goal of reducing negative environmental impacts and leveraging education and partnerships to further its mission of making adventure possible anywhere, for anyone, forever.

PeopleForBikes inspires and empowers cities to take actions that get more people on bikes to promote healthier populations and a more livable planet.

“PeopleForBikes supports a key priority for NEMO — improving access to adventure,” said Theresa McKenney, NEMO’s Director of Sustainability. “We’re also excited to join their Sustainability Working Group to collaborate on emissions reduction projects in our shared hard goods supply chains.”

The European Outdoor Group is an organization that works to support its members around three priorities: conducting business in an ethical and sustainable manner, preserving the outdoors, and getting people active in nature.

“As NEMO continues to expand its presence in and commitment to the European market, we are looking to partner with organizations that are doing the important work on climate change,” said Chris Griffin, NEMO’s Director of International Sales. “EOG provides us with policy tracking, education, and partners.”
