Montane Encourages Spring Challenge Participaton with Strava

The Montane 30km Spring Challenge tests Strava users to get outside and make the most of spring by completing a 30km distance over a two-week period, either in segments or in one go, starting today and continuing through May 14.

Inspired by the Montane Dragon’s Back Race, the brand encourages participants to go “Further,  Faster”and hike, run, walk, wheelchair or virtually run the distance.

Competitors will unlock discounts and the chance of winning $375 worth of Montane kit, as well as receiving a Montane digital badge in the Strava app. Those that complete the challenge and sign up to claim their reward, will have the option to enter a drawing for a chance to win an entry, accommodation and travel to the Montane Dragon’s Back Race in September 2023, a six-day, 360 km ultra-running journey through Wales.

Following the success of the Montane Winter Challenge in its second consecutive season, the Spring Challenge has been designed to be accessible to individuals of all abilities and disciplines whether it be those training for an ultra-marathon or those simply looking to get out and explore more.

“It’s great to be partnering with Strava once again to inspire participants to push themselves to their limits,” said Matthew Hickman, Montane’s Marketing Director. “The Montane 30km Spring Challenge is a great way to add an additional challenge to any current training plan, or it can be used as encouragement to explore more as the seasons change. More hours of daylight mean that spring is a great time to re-energize, look ahead, and set new goals to go further than ever before, and this challenge is a perfect place to start.”
