Masterfit University announced its return this Fall with a full slate of boot-fit training courses. This content – which will cater to bootfitters at any skill level – includes three U.S. locations.

Masterfit University will present a relaxed, fun atmosphere that maximizes real-world, hands-on practice and skills development, including state-of-the-art tools, boot shells and liners to practice grinding and stretching techniques. Plus, dedicated instructors will demonstrate how to work bootfit magic in order to skyrocket sales and margins.
The Fall 2024 schedule includes:
- Sep. 24-25 – Mt. Snow, Vermont
- Oct. 23-24 – Denver, Colorado
- Oct. 30-31 – Reno, Nevada

Associates Course
For new hires, seasonal retail and rental employees. Even if you’ve never fit boots before, you’ll leave MFU ready to hit the fit bench at full speed after this day of intensive instruction. Get ground level fundamentals in ski boot sales, footbed tactics, boot modifications and more. Extensive hands-on learning opportunities.
Associates Plus
Add a second day of Associates training and return to your shop brimming with confidence and new-found expertise. You’ll spend the morning of Day Two in your choice of two deep-dive, hands-on workshops:
- Custom footbed building
- Liner and shell modifications
In the afternoon, you join the Masters groups and attend three, one-hour breakout sessions. Choose from a wide variety of exciting bootfitting and business topics.
Masters Course
This two-day session is packed with practical information you can use to immediately improve your bootfitting sales and service. The Masters Course offers extensive hands-on practice opportunities and breakout sessions on topics including:
- Athlete assessment
- Sales strategies
- Footbed construction
- Stretching and grinding
- Stance alignment, and more.
Day One focuses on the core building blocks that create bootfitting success. The program uses a blend of mixed-media group lecture, small group breakout sessions and extensive hands-on practice. Day Two provides extensive customized learning opportunities. Learn what interests you the most! There’s a choice of several morning-long, intensive hands on workshop sessions. In the afternoon there are three, one-hour breakout blocks on an extensive variety of exciting bootfitting and business topics.
Masters Plus
For highly experienced pros who have previously attended a Masters workshop and have extensive bootfitting experience. This hands-on immersion workshop focuses on advanced bootfitting techniques and issues.
The Masters Plus curriculum mirrors that of the Masters on Day One but at a level of discussion and understanding that assumes a high degree of experience with the subject matter. The Masters Plus agenda is somewhat free-form, following trajectories of interest to the group while maintaining a focus on hands-on learning at a crisp pace.
Masters Plus exposes experienced Master bootfitters to emerging and leading edge techniques for executing successful bootfitting plans. Registration is open only to prior Masters graduates and those with extensive snowsports bootfitting experience.
