LXV Outdoor Acquires Second SUP Brand

Following it’s acquisition of the rights Tahoe SUP in December, LXV Outdoor of Reno, NV has acquired rights to all KM Hawaii standup paddle boards (SUP) and products. LVX says the deal reflects its intentions to establish a global platform of outdoor sports brands.

KM Hawaii started in 2008 and has become known for racing platforms. The current design is KM’s sixth generation board. The deal reportedly frees uo KM founder and owner Brett Huf to focus on brand development and designing boards.

The deal marks the second acquisition by, who plans to McColl’s first transaction took place in late 2015, when he acquired Tahoe SUP, a paddleboard company geared toward leisure and outdoor exploration.

“The addition of the KM Hawaii brand goes a long way to filling in the LXV Outdoor offering in our paddleboard portfolio,” said LXV Outdoor CEO James McColl. “The addition of a high-class Race and Surf line brings us closer to a complete line of paddleboard products…we continue to look for additional brands to join the LXV family.”
