La Sportiva announced John and Brad Dorough, co-owners of Vertical Momentum Rep Agency, will be its new representatives Southeast Region of the United States.
The Doroughs have built an impressive agency serving vertical disciplines as long-term Petzl reps in the sport and pro markets and represent Goal Zero. The two also are veteran climbing shoe reps.
In the meantime, Chad Wykle will be joining Vertical Momentum as a senior executive, taking the lead on the La Sportiva business in the Southeast. Wykle is returning to his roots as a sales rep. He cut his teeth under the tutelage of the legendary Paul Marsh before moving on to learn the ropes of specialty outdoor retail from mavens Dawson Wheeler and Marvin Webb at Rock/Creek Outfitters.
Wykle served in many roles during his tenure at Rock/Creek including lead buyer, vice president and ultimately culminating in co-ownership.
