KAVU announced it has signed with distributor Himalya Trading Co. Ltd. to deliver its brand of outdoor wear continues Asia-Pacific (APAC) expansion, signing with distributor Himalaya Trading Co., Ltd. to anchor the brand in China.
Born in the Pacific Northwest in 1993, KAVU (Klear Above Visibility Unlimited) is an outdoor lifestyle apparel brand and a philosophy founded by Barry Barr.
KAVU first launched in the APAC more than 25 years ago. “We are proud of our strong presence in Asia. The success is thanks to amazing partnerships that help create customers with personal connections to the brand,” said KAVU International Sales Director Jeremy Goodman.
Himalaya Trading was founded more than 18 years ago by Jack Lin. The company is a distributor and brand manager with outdoor ties based in Shenzhen, China. The premium importer works with other outdoor industry veterans including Black Diamond, Outdoor Research and Smartwool. The entire KAVU line can now be ordered by mainland Chinese retailers through Himalaya Trading.
