RockyMounts has appointed Rod Judd to the newly created position of sales director, effective Sept. 19, when he will join the company in Las Vegas at the Interbike International Bicycle Expo. Judd will report directly to company president Bruno Maier.
For the last six years, Judd served as the Associate Director of Development of the International Mountain Bicycling Association, where he managed sales efforts to increase the number of bicycle and outdoor specialty retail partners, and contributed to consistent year-over-year revenue growth for the organization. Prior to IMBA, he worked in business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales for Catalyst Communications, Inside Communications, and Primedia, magazine and media companies in the cycling and outdoor recreation industries.
At RockyMounts, Judd will develop a network of outside sales representatives, manage internal sales staff, and work with the RockyMounts team to launch new products and categories, support the RockyMounts IBD network, and develop new sales opportunities.
