Icebug, the Swedish footwear brand designed for slippery conditions and outdoor adventuring, announced that its winter lifestyle boot, the Juniper, has received the HI Travel Tales (HITT) Seal of Approval. HITT, an online adventure travel website, selected the Juniper because of its performance-based features combined with urban sensibilities.
Lightweight and waterproof, the Juniper is designed for city walking or urban adventures where slick, icy or snowy conditions make traction an essential ingredient for daily life.
“We are proud to receive the HITT Seal of Approval for our Juniper boot,” said Karin Lundqvist, head of design at Icebug. “We’ve worked for over a decade to perfect our range of traction footwear, and adventure-lovers, including the editors of HITT, are definitely taking notice.”
The Juniper combines function with fashion and is available for men and women in two sole options. The Juniper BUGrip features 19 permanently fixed carbide steel studs in dual-durometer rubber for superior traction and durability. Built with Icebug’s proprietary rubber compound, the Juniper RB9X has a durable and sticky rubber sole that provides unbelievable grip on a range of surfaces from dry asphalt to wet and mossy conditions. The boot also boasts year-round performance qualities making it the ultimate go-to shoe for summer hiking adventures.
