Hydro Flask Hosts Bend HQ Grand Opening Party

Hydro Flask, the hydration brand in the Housewares segment of Helen of Troy Limited, announced the opening of its new Bend, Ore., headquarters, and to mark the transition, Hydro Flask will be holding an open house and “Hydropalooza” celebration this Friday, October 21 from 5:00pm – 10:00 pm.

The event is open to employees, vendors and members of the public. Guests will enjoy beer and wine, hors d’oeuvres and live music by The White Buffalo + Wilderness. Attendees will also have a chance to purchase Hydro Flask products during the event. Proceeds from the sales will be donated to local nonprofits COTA (Central Oregon Trail Association), Bend Park and Recreation Foundation, and the Bend Paddle Trail Alliance.

The modern 12,000-square foot office building will incorporate a variety of unique features including a hydration station, bike corral and showers for post-lunch exercise outings. In addition, team members will have access to beverage taps and specialty coffee equipment featuring Hydro Flask customers’ microbrews, kombucha, and roasted coffee. With panoramic view windows and roll-up doors facing the Cascades, the space embodies Hydro Flask’s fun and adventure-oriented brand culture.

The new building encompasses an integrated research and development center with product design, engineering, and testing, along with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and human resources. There is also an open space for team members to collaborate and socialize, said the company.

“We’ve built an incredible team and we’re excited that we now have a facility that both better reflects our brand and accommodates our recent expansion,” said Hydro Flask General Manager Scott Allan. “We look forward to thanking our community, key partners, and employees’ families as we celebrate the official opening.”

Steele Associates served as the project architects for the new building, with SunWest Builders as general contractor and Connell Hull as the agency for key elements of interior design. Central Oregon Development Company TaylorNW will share in the ownership of the new facility.
