Hydrapak Forms Retail Rep Force

Hydrapak appointed eight sales agencies as the company gears up to push beyond the independent bicycle dealer (IBD) channel and OEM business and further into outdoor and running specialty accounts. Oakland, Calif.-based Hydrapak, which has grown primarily out of the IBD arena, is best known for its role in OEM manufacturing of hydration reservoirs.

“As we launch a wholesale program in the outdoor and run-specialty industries, retailers are already embracing creative hydration solutions that include the SoftFlask program as well as our reservoirs and components,” said Jordan Phillips, Hydrapak’s director of sales.

Hydrapak President Matt Lyon said outdoor and run specialty retailers have responded positively to Hydrapak-branded products so far.

“Our selection of these outstanding sales reps will ensure that retailers will continue to have a high level of service as we grow,” Lyon said.
