Goldwin Opens First U.S. Flagship

Japanese technical outdoor apparel brand, Goldwin, opened of its second retail flagship store, and the brand’s first outside of Japan, with a new retail location in San Francisco, Calif. The store, which officially opened on November 22, is located at 444 Jackson Street in the city’s Jackson Square neighborhood.

Goldwin makes a broad range of technical apparel for skiing, hiking, running and mountaineering as well as a line of compression gear. Known for designed that actively connect outdoor and city life, the brand combines technical aspects of apparel with a distinct fashion sensibility.

“American outdoor enthusiasts expect the highest quality technical apparel and we are confident that Goldwin will deliver a head-to-toe range that will raise the bar for skiers, hikers, climbers and other athletes who test themselves in the outdoors,” said Goldwin’s general manager, Gen Arai. “Most American outdoor enthusiasts are just learning about Goldwin so with the new store location we are looking to provide a unique retail experience that connects urban city life with nature and adventure.”
