Founded Outdoors Showcases Rising Brands at 3 Events

Founded Outdoors, a national platform of outdoor entrepreneurs, will elevate its visibility as a selection of rising brands from its 400-member community by attending key outdoor industry gatherings including the Big Gear Show, Outdoor Retailer Summer, and the Grassroots Discovery Marketplace.

Launched in 2021, Founded Outdoors supports emerging businesses through community, programming and connections, with the goal of increasing access in the outdoor industry as well as in outdoor places.

At each of the events, Founded Outdoors and its members will have a different style and size of presence, but the common thread through all three will be a clear dedication to elevating the work of outdoor entrepreneurs.

At the Big Gear Show (June 8-11; Denver), Founded Outdoors will have an expanded footprint space in the Colorado Convention Center in booth 611, which will include seven brands from its founder community including DMOS Pro Shovel Tools, Embark Maple, ICONI, Literally Outside, Outpatch, Utu and Zip Hers.

At the Grassroots Discovery Marketplace (June 11; Knoxville, Tenn.), members of the Founded Outdoors Community will be exhibiting in the one-day curated brand gathering, which takes place the day prior to the Grassroots Connect buying show. Founded Outdoors members at the Grassroots Discovery Marketplace will include Hydaway (booth 12) and Terracea (booth 27).

At Outdoor Retailer Summer (June 19-21; Salt Lake City), Founded Outdoors will host a panel discussion “Navigating Financing as an Emerging Brand” at 11 am, June 19 in The Ranger Station. Founded Outdoors also will host a meetup for its founders as well as others interested in supporting or joining the entrepreneurial community. The meetup is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m., June 20 at the EVO Hotel Bar.
