REI Co-op opens its first retail store in Maine with grand opening festivities November 12-14.
Location of the retail outlet is in Westbrook located at 90 Rock Road, Suite 100.
The company says there are multiple ways to celebrate with it in-person and online. Among them will be morning giveaways when the store opens at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday, 11am Sunday (while daily supplies last).
From 2 to 6 p.m., vendors, music and more will participate in the REI “Afternoon Outdoor Social.”
Consumers may also join REI’s celebration on the co-op’s Facebook event page.
During the grand opening, attendees are encouraged to drop by the REI Co-op Mastercard table and apply for the , apply for the REI Co-op World Elite Mastercard and receive a $20 REI gift card. Then, earn a $100 REI gift card upon approval, activation and qualifying purchase within 60 days of account opening.
