Eastern Outdoor Reps Association’s Board of Directors named Terry Wilson as the new Southeast Regional Director. Wilson comes to EORA with more than 35 years of experience working in the retail and wholesale sectors, most recently completing a 15-year stint with Columbia Sportswear.
During that 15-year period, he was an active member of EORA and served on the Board of Directors as VP in the Southeast Region. His formative years were spent pursuing outdoor activities that ranged from hiking, camping, backpacking and paddling to skiing and climbing, so it was only natural that after acquiring a degree in Business, he pursued a career in the outdoor industry.
Wilson, of course, will be attending the upcoming EORA show, taking place February 6-8 in Greenville, S.C. The show will feature more than 575 product lines offered by 175 exhibitors, all in one large hall. Specialty retail buyers from all 10 of the southeastern states are expected to attend, due to the diverse product range, from snowsports to paddlesports, and most everything in between.
