DUER Plans Reopening in Denver, Expanding US Locations

DUER announced the grand reopening of its Denver storefront and the planned opening of four additional retail locations in 2022.

DUER opened its first international storefront in Denver’s RiNo District in October 2020 as part of its larger expansion strategy into the United States. The Vancouver-based brand has U.S. storefronts in Denver and Los Angeles and plans to open four additional locations in major metropolitan areas, aligning with the burgeoning industry trend of retail store openings increasing by 58 percent in 2021.

The RiNo Art District is one of Denver’s most up-and-coming neighborhoods and because of this, a good place for DUER to establish roots. The 2621 Larimer St. location, in good company with neighboring outdoor apparel brands like Marine Layer, Topo, Patagonia, Burton, and Outdoor Voices, will be a long-term residence for the brand.

“Being situated among brands looking to capture a similar customer is a determiner when we’re choosing store locations and this was a big factor as to why we chose Larimer Street,” said Anna Davidson, director of retail for DUER. “As a brand forged in the performance fashion hub of Vancouver, we’ve got the technical, style, and sustainability chops to really make an impact in the US market, with a keen focus on influential outdoors, metropolitan, and travel hubs such as Denver.”

DUER’s Larimer Street storefront will feature indoor and outdoor murals from Denver artist and muralist Jason Graves, who is recognized for bright and bold contemporary murals.
