Andrew Day has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Sierra Designs, announced Harry Kazazian, CEO of Exxel Outdoors, the brand’s parent company.
“We could not be more excited to have Andrew take the helm of Sierra Designs,” commented Kazazian. “He has the experience, drive and talent to lead the brand in its exciting new, far-reaching directions.
Day brings to the position 24 years of management and product experience in the outdoor industry, most recently for Sierra Designs and Kelty. He will spearhead Sierra Designs’ ongoing pursuit of “Thinking Outside,” while cultivating the brand’s successful retail partnerships with groups such as Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, through which it offers select gear pieces exclusively to Grassroots Retailers.
