Clear Water Outdoor is bringing adventure and outdoor clothing, footwear and gear to two new stores this spring. A Delafield, Wis., branch opens the week of May 6, and CWO at Gage Marina in Williams Bay, Wis., opens Memorial Day weekend.
Opening the week of May 6, CWO Delafield is located at 803 Genesee St. on Clock Tower Square. The excellent network of trails and waters in Lake Country sets the perfect backdrop for area outdoor enthusiasts. After participating in the Lake Country Community Fest, co-owner Brian Waspi says, “It was exciting to hear all the vibrant feedback. We’re looking forward to opening our doors to such an active community.”
Local paddles will be scheduled at Delafield area lakes this summer as opportunities to try out boats and boards. CWO boasts a number of ACA and PaddleFit Certified Instructors who can be scheduled for Paddle Instruction, Guided Tours and Private Paddle Events.
Memorial Day Weekend marks the opening of CWO at Gage Marina – 1 Liechty Dr., Williams Bay. Boaters and diners at Gage will have the added benefit of CWO merchandise, kayak and SUP rentals, classes, and other paddle adventures through the CWO/Gage Marina partnership. New lake- experiences will be offered, featuring paddles to iconic locations on Geneva Lake with Gage boat pick-up for the return treks.
A locally owned and family-run outdoor store, Clear Water Outdoor opened its doors in Lake Geneva, Wis., in May 2005. Store owner and CEO, Sarah Schuster is anticipating all the challenges, opportunities and adventures associated with opening new locations and becoming involved in new communities. Schuster says, “I’ve always dreamed of opening another outdoor store and expanding the Clear Water Outdoor vision and lifestyle to other communities – now’s our opportunity.”
The core mission of Clear Water Outdoor is to “encourage and enhance one’s life outdoors, at any age and in any season”, which Schuster says is accomplished by carrying outdoor merchandise from top brands, and hosting and sponsoring events and classes geared toward running, hiking, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, yoga and climbing. Clear Water Outdoor is a hub for the Lake Geneva outdoor community – from hosting the annual Turkey Trot 5K/10K and the Midwest SUP Masters Race, to CWO Adventure Club paddles, activities and events.
