Brook’s New POP Tells Tech Story

Brooks continues to develop industry-leading running shoe technology with its new Guide Rail midsole design. Guide Rails allow a runner’s hips, knees and joints to move within their unique motion path during the run. This innovative new form of stability doesn’t “correct” a runner’s stride. Instead it assists the body in finding its natural path, or Stride Signature.

To tell this technology story at retail, Concept Designs designed an interactive display that could function either floor standing or on a counter top. A silkscreened front acrylic panel is set off from a graphic printed sintra backdrop. The back drop also incorporates an actual midsole. An acrylic foot form is mounted above the foot bed on the front panel. A lever attached to the foot form allows the customer to pivot the foot, demonstrating how the Guide Rail technology adjusts to an individual runner. A sample shoe rests on the base, its heel raised on a wire heel riser.
