Arc’teryx to Open Store in New York City

Arc’teryx announced plans to open a store in Soho, New York City this summer. The 2,300 sq. ft. premium retail store, located at 169 Spring Street, is the brands seventh fully owned retail store in the US.

As part of the grand opening on Saturday July 23, the first 50 customers through the store at 10.00 am will receive a unique Arc’teryx gift pack. Arc’teryx also is planning to open a limited amount of doors in key international cities.

“The Arc’teryx consumer travels a great deal between mountain and city environments. We are focused on making sure we offer an elevated retail experience that matches our product experience, regardless of our consumers’ location,” says Adam Ketcheson, vice president of marketing and B2C at Arc’teryx.

“We have a very loyal consumer base built around amazing product experiences, and brand stores offer us an opportunity to support that experience by building personal relationships with our most dedicated brand advocates,” continues Ketcheson.

Arc’teryx currently has brand stores in Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Seattle, Boston, Washington DC, Portland, Denver, Minneapolis, London and Shanghai. The company is planning to open two more stores by the end of the year in North America; Chicago in July and Toronto in October.
