Airhead Founder and CEO Kramer Retires

Aaron Kramer has announced his retirement from his long-held position as President and CEO of Airhead Sports Group.  Since founding the company in 1991, Kramer has led the organization’s growth and expansion, building the Airhead, Sportsstuff and Yukon brands to the position they now hold in recreational water and winter sports.

“I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my career working in such a great industry,” said Kramer.  “I will miss the daily interaction with my coworkers most of all.  There have been so many people who have been a part of my company’s journey and success, and I want to thank you all for making it so special.”
Illustrative of his passion and commitment, Kramer has served as a Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) board member and was Chairman of the Warnings committee for several years, helping develop warnings and regulations for the water sports industry.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Kramer will still serve as an active board member and shareholder of Airhead Sports Group.  Fellow board member and former CEO and founder of BLACKHAWK! Products Group, Mike Noell, will serve as President and CEO.

Noell is no stranger to the water sports and marine industry.  “I grew up on the water,” said Noell, an accomplished mariner and former Navy SEAL.  “It has continued to play an important and passionate part of my career.”  Noell went on to say, “We have big shoes to fill.  I’m excited for the opportunity to lead and continue the great growth and expansion our company has had under Aaron’s leadership.”
