Isbjörn of Sweden, a sustainable outdoor brand for children and teenagers, has partnered with service provider Raizemore to launch an initiative that allows customers to circulate their purchased garments.
This is another step forward on Isbjörn’s journey to becoming fully circular by 2030 and a net zero company by 2045.
Piloting in Sweden before being rolled out globally, the service is integrated with Isbjörn of Sweden’s business system, making it easy for customers to get an overview of their previous purchases and with just a few clicks, submit them for further resale in the second-hand market.
As a customer, there is no need to wait for the garments to be sold, as they receive a voucher as soon as they are received and verified by Raizemore.
“The longevity and durability of Isbjörn of Sweden’s product range is a perfect fit with our service, and we’re looking forward to handling many garments, ensuring that they find new owners and are reused for a long time to come,” said Jason McMillion, CEO of Raizemore.
With traceable environmental data, the service becomes an effective tool for Isbjörn of Sweden to increase the lifespan of sold garments, while creating more satisfied and loyal customers who now have an easy way to circulate their previous purchases.
“At Isbjörn of Sweden, we are constantly committed to driving sustainability and reducing our impact on the environment. As part of our ambitious ongoing sustainability plan, we’re incredibly excited to announce our collaboration with Raizemore, a pioneering platform for circular fashion economy. Together and with the help of our consumers we can all make a difference,” said Maria Frykman, CEO of Isbjörn of Sweden.
Isbjörn’s DNA always has been to make premium, fit-for-purpose outerwear for children and teenagers and it was the first outdoor kids brand to become a bluesign system partner. Protecting children and the planet has been at the company’s forefront for nearly 20 years.
