Rumpl, a category leader in technical blankets, launched a limited-edition blanket designed by Washington-based professional mountain biker and artist, Brooklyn Bell.
For Spring 2022, Bell joins the Rumpl Artist Division (RAD), a collaborative program that highlights the work of accomplished and upcoming artists who inspire creativity in communities worldwide. This exclusive Original Puffy Blanket features original Brooklyn Bell artwork commissioned by Rumpl and depicts the Skyline Divide Trail in her home state of Washington.
“I love capturing moments. Art helps me navigate the high highs and the low lows,” Bell said. “Creating art helps me keep the high moments from the places I love. It keeps a part of them with me in a different way. I go back to the same places every summer, every fall, every winter, and every time it feels different. My art is a way to celebrate a place and get to know a place and celebrate having the privilege of even getting to move in these spaces.”
The Skyline Divide Original Puffy Blanket (MSRP $129) is made with Rumpl’s 100 percent post-consumer recycled polyester shell and 3D hollow fiber siliconized synthetic insulation. Each blanket reclaims 60 post-consumer plastic bottles. The durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment and 30-denier ripstop polyester fabric make this blanket weather- and stain-resistant to hold up to all your outdoor adventures.
Bell is the first of a collection of new artists to join the RAD in 2022. Rumpl will launch an assortment of collaborations with additional artists later this year.
