Black Diamond Equipment Expands in North America

Black Diamond Equipment, a global innovator in climbing, skiing and mountain sports equipment, will open its doors at two new retail locations this season in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Burlington, Vermont.

And during the spring, it will open a retail location in Bend, Oregon.

The new stores represent Black Diamond’s efforts to open brick and mortar stores across the country. All three retail locations come amid a push for Black Diamond to integrate into mountain towns it provides as a hub for outdoor enthusiasts to gather.

With the additional locations, Black Diamond will have nine retail stores in North America and will continue to reach an expanded audience, from the steep and jagged peaks of the Tetons to the crags of the Deschutes River valley.

“Growing into these three rich, iconic mountain towns is a very exciting moment for the brand. Each location uniquely represents what Black Diamond is all about,” said Devin Gillette, director of retail for Black Diamond Equipment.

The three stores will feature seasonal collections of equipment and apparel for climbing, backcountry skiing, snow safety products, and mountain running. Each location will highlight seasonal products that allow for a variety of mountain sports in a given calendar year.

“We look forward to connecting and integrating into each of these communities by bringing people together for monthly events, including clinics, athlete presentations, equipment demonstrations, special presentations, as well as our own product launches,” added Gillette.
